About Out Of His Mind Dance

Out of His Mind Dance has been an enduring member of the dance community within the Johnstown area for over 25 years.  We offer classes in acrobatics, ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern, musical theater, pointe, and tap .  We also have classes for adults!  At OOHM Dance, our goal is to provide our dancers with a strong technical foundation in dance while growing and fostering a joy for creativity and expression.  We strive to empower young women and men to take pride in both their bodies and voices.  We invite our dancers and their families to join us in creating an environment that is welcoming and encouraging at all stages of growth in their dance education.

Our studio proudly employs a variety of well-educated and certified arts educators.  Amongst our staff comprises certifications in yoga, dance instruction through Dance Masters of America, and college degrees in dance, theater, and education.  Each class is taught by a qualified instructor.  Our teachers' passion and enthusiasm provide a solid and enthralling dance experience for their students.  To learn more about our staff, please visit our Staff Page.  

facility

The studio is conveniently located on Bedford Street.  Entry and parking are located off of Bedford Street for your family's safety and convenience.  Our two-story facility boasts two studio spaces with sprung floors and Stage Step flooring that provide  shock absorption and friction reduction for the health and safety of your dancer.  Each studio is equipped with a viewing window that allows you to watch your dancer safely develop and hone their skills.  Two waiting room spaces are available allowing parents to wait with non-dancers while their child takes class, or provide space for our dance students to complete schoolwork between dance classes.
